On this page I am going to tell you a little bit about myself and the services I provide but if this seems boring then you can view my portfolio, I have cool designs and previous websites I have created for you so enjoy.
I graduated from University with a First Class Honors Degree in Computer Science. I felt like it was a start of a good career. Well that didnt last long and after a few months of applying for jobs I would get the same response that I do not have enough experience. So I started to do freelance work as I felt that I had the skills, knowledge and determination to create websites for clients and I enjoy every moment of it.
So I am using all my experience I have picked up from my education and putting it to practice. I am a front end developer and web designer. I have knowledge of Photoshop, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and JQuery I have also developed websites in WordPress. Being a designer I can also design business cards, posters etc.
I provide the client with:
- a website - the website will be created for you and you will own the code just incase your wondering
- a domain - this will be the web address for your website for example www.examplesite.com
- hosting - for a website to be accessed over the web it needs to stored on a server and this is what hosting is. I will provide you with a hosting package to have your website stored on a shared server so it can be accessed online.
When creating websites I have three points in mind which are creativity, usability and accessability. A lot of effort needs to be put in to ensure that the website is unique and engaging for the user. Not only that but there are principles and guidelines that need to be met to make sure the website can be used by everyone for example people who are short sighted. The website also needs to be simple to use and navigate around as this can be the difference between gaining or losing a customer/viewer.
